Hey Johnny,
Technically with a Lift that high and those monster 46" tires, it is a Cross-Over! Meaning you can 'Cross-Over' just about anything...including little cars, highway divides, etc!
I think you simply need to encourage your wife to broaden her definition of what a crossover really is!!
Technically my H2 is a Hybrid!
It is half H2 and half H1!!!

What a waste of a Rig. Most definitely was more functional with stock suspension, now little more than big lifted junk

While a stock H1 is very capable...every vehicle can be enhanced!
While the H1 for sale may look useless I think it is far more capable than you might think!
Here is a side by side comparison of a Stock Military H1 besides the New TAK-4 Equipped Military H1.
I would take the one on the right without even a second thought!
Is the center of gravity a tad higher sure, but the overall capability blows the doors of the Stock H1!
Just my 2 cents!

I 2nd that choice KEV ! Modded all the way .. I can see Dub man's concern in it being abit over kill . Every one has their own tastes . I did wonder how hard it would be on the drive train pushing those Mickey Thompson's. What size are on the TAK-4 anyway ?

One of the biggest impressive facets of the H1 is how utterly unstoppable and capable it is in such a wide range of terrain and conditions given the original engineering that went into it. Sure you can modify any vehicle to improve ground clearance, etc, but at the end of the day, the Hummer was, in my personal opinion, one of if not THE MOST capable vehicle (broad spectrum) that was ever offered on a consumer-production level. Is the Oshkosh H1 cool? Sure. Does it have that much more clearance at the arms above the factory? Not from the looks of it. Nevermind the fact that Ive never felt that the H1 needed tires so much larger than factory size. Those look to be close to 46", which given the size and weight, would also detract from the intended engineering of the truck's origins. Unmodified Id contest that the H1 was one of the best equipped and capable vehicles with a higher level of engineering and testing than most similiar-genre vehicles in its competition, and as such, Id keep my factory-ish H1 over the white one posted above, or the OshKosh.

Your truck isn't a hybrid. In my option it's a mad scientist experiment gone right. (Dr. Frankenstien)

Thanks Marcus!
Btw,
You need to check out the H2 section for everything that I will be adding to my already heavily modified H2!!
