Just an Idea.... we should see if maybe Banff Hummer Backcountry Tours Inc. would host our first event, they might have access to areas that we (the general public) do not have access to. It may be a good way to get offroad in the park. Or if possable arrage with the park (jasper or Banff) to get clearance to leave the main road on one of their Closed roads not seen by many people, so the experiance is that much more of a draw.

I was not aware of Banff Hummer Backcountry Tours; thanks for the heads up! I have contacted them and am waiting for a response. I will attempt to contact the necessary people to look into clearance on closed roads, though I do not hold as much hope for this as with Backcountry Tours. You never know, though.

The pepole you will want to talk to is Rob & Karyn White from: www.banfflakelouiseweddings.com ph# 403-762-8098, I don't know if he can help very much due to the fact that he pretty well sold off all his equipment and Truck if I'm not mistaken, along with the trail closures in the Banff area you might be a bit hard pressed. It sounds like these two companies work together a bit, judging from the web site. I spoke with Rob and Karyn a couple years ago when looking for a place for Lizz and I to get married, and again when they were selling their Hummer. I will see if they have any additional information.
