H2 rims on H1

Has anyone other than myself tried this. It is an inexpensive way toget 17" wheels for your truck with an offset that is pretty close tothe H1 wheels.
The only modification that is needed is that the center must be boredout a bit. One fellow on humvee.net did this is with a sandpaper wheelbut there are shops around that will do it with a mill/lathe. You canadd CTIS pretty easily on your own if you want to.
If anyone else has done this please post it here (in particular anyolocal shops that will bore the center) so that othersconsidering it in the future (as the 16.5" tires get harder to find),have a point of contact.
