MY FRIENDS KEEP SOLICITING ME TO BUY SOME ADD ONS AND MIX THEM WITH DIESEL FUEL TO GET BETTER PERFORMANCE AND INCREASE HORSE POWER , PRODUCTIVITY, EFFICIENCY ETC...... I AM MORE CONSERVATIVE TO THE FACT THAT THIS STUFF IS MORE APPLICABLE TO EUROPEAN DIESELS AS THEY HAVE A BIT DIFFERENT FUEL QUALITY AND ENGINES ARE MADE ACCORDING TO THEIR DIESEL WHERE US DIESEL ENGINES ARE DESIGNED TO RUN ON CLEAN AMERICAN DIESEL , I COULD BE WRONG - PLS SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT YOUR EXPIRIENCE WITH DIESEL FUEL

FROM ALL THE EUROPEAN MECHANICS I HAVE SPOKEN TO SAY THAT OUR DIESEL IS VERY POOR HERE. THERE THEY HAVE MULTIPLE GRADES OF DIESEL AND THEY ARE ABLE TO DO 20000KMS PER OIL CHANGE BECAUSE THE FUEL IS CLEANER. I USE A ADDATIVE IN MY HUMMER AND JETTA TDI DIESEL AND FIND THAT IT HELPS KEEP MY ENGINE RUNNING CLEAN. THE ADDITIVE HELPS REMOVE MOISTURE, ADDS LUBRICATION FOR THE INJECTION SYSTEM AND ADDS CETANE. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE TRUCK/CAR DOESN'T BLOW ANY SMOKE ON HARD EXCELLERATION AND IT SEEMS TO HELP MY MILEAGE.

Ive been running the Stanadyne winter (once it got really cold) and the regular additive since the fall, and have noticed that it is easier to start the truck, and the winter formula also prevents the fuel from gelling/freezing. Not only that, but with some places in Canada having such drastic weather/temp. changes, it helps in fighting water & moisture (condensation) buildup in the tanks.

For the price I paid for my truck, and the length of time I want to keep it, I dont mind shelling out a few extra bucks each time I fill up, to ensure that the same company who was involved in the electronics side of the motor's PCM (Stanadyne) also has their advised additive working with the motor.

is the colour of diesel makes a difference? i noticed some diesel is yelloish and some is reddish , does it mean it may have some addons already or?<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' /> different gas stations or? im not use to seeing different fuel colours with no grade descriptions...

Coloured Fuel is usually Commercial or for FARM use only, it is taxed differently and should not be used by the normal public, it is coloured to show inspectors the difference.

As for Supplements, I got a Great supplement for my H1 from Doug Sinclair at Hydra Tech in Orillia, Member Name DOUG. Send him an PM and he will look after you, I am running it now and truly it is a great product photo included.

i am currently using Kleen cetane boost by Power Service, loving it, its also proven to work awesome, my brother has 6.0 Powerstroke and he had major issues with fuel injectors(needed big dollars maintenance) - after using it for 2 months he recovered all injectors without having them replaced and currently has amasing results -injectors are clean.

I have been running the fuelon from Doug for 2 years now. I use it in the H1 and my Jetta TDI. I notice improved fuel milage and I don't blow black smoke on hard excelleration. I stored my truck for the winter and just put extra Fuelon in the tank in the fall. The other day I went to start it and it started as if I was running it the day before. The stuff is awesome.

I also run the engine hush that he has, you can hear the engine run quieter as it works it way through the engine.
