06 H3 Head/ Valve Problems?
Hey Guys <DIV> </DIV><DIV>I've been reading in other HUMMER forums about 2006 H3 with Head/ Valve problems at 11,000 Km and up.. This seems to be quite a common problem in certain parts of the US where Owners had to have their heads replaced in their 06 H3's.</DIV><DIV>I'm just wondering if anybody here in Canada had this happen to them, or heard of it happening to someone else?</DIV>

Re: 06 H3 Head/ Valve Problems?
I just had my H3 in for a MONTH for this problem. The service people told me that it is extremely uncommon and that they had only one other H3 with this problem. New gasket. New head. I have read on other forums that this is quite common with most domestic vehicles but after many km. This is where "secret warrantee's" come in. I actually have ongoing issues, the description of which I just posted a long rant and request for help. If you have any questions, drop me a line.

Re: 06 H3 Head/ Valve Problems?
I have read about several other H3 owners experiencing these issues. Fortunately, it should be covered by warranty, but my concern is that the problem will occur again unless they are using updated parts in the repairs. By all indications, they are not.
I agree that secret warranties are the path to pursue. If more people take advantage of them, it will push GM to fix the root cause, not just make repairs as problems occur.
