Hi, I am new to this forum. I own a black hummer h3. Offorad wheels, grill guard, and steps. for now.

I am having a problem with the 4x4. traction failed, stab sys service, service 4x4... I cannot figure out if it is the TCCM or electric motor... The buttons blink when i press them but but motor makes no sound. I check with volt meter the BLACK and RED wires on motor they have no power when pressing buttons. I am assuming it is the TCCM. Does any of the members have a TCCM they want to sell?

also trying to figure out does my hummer have rear electric locking diff or not? I have 4High, 4High Lock, 4 Low Lock buttons.

Send a PM to Kevin (Polar Bear) as he's our local genious. There is also Steve with Mastermechanics and you'll see him around.

The only H3's that have a rear locking diff are the ones with the adventure package and there will be a button to engage it. So basically... no button - no locker.... You can get them aftermarket of course.

Good luck!

Hey, where are you from?

If you H3 has lockers the buttons will be to the right of the 4wd buttons and will be pictures of a drivetrain (wheels / axles / driveshafts) with an X in the front or rear indicating which locker you're switching on and off.

I believe that anything before 2009 only had the rear locker as an option, but Adventure trucks 2009+ had front and rear Eaton eLockers.

Front and rear eLockers are available aftermarket as are ARB Air Lockers (which would be my choice).

I am from Toronto, Canada.

I am just trying to figure out if it is the TCCM or motor,

If i would hook up another working TCCM, do i need to pull battery terminal off? or what would be the steps to test with another TCCM?
