Hi all my name is Bob and I live in Prince George, BC. I'm not really new to CHC but have not yet posted on the newly re-vamped site. I drive a 00 wagon and also an 86 HMMWV. I wheel them both regularly, here are a few pics.
Cheers, Bob

Norm it took me a very long time to clean out the rads and engine bay lol. Here is a shot of the engine compartment right after I got out of that hole.

Paul I purchased the HMMWV in San Diego. I drove my wagon down, bought a trailer and hauled it back. The whole process was actually very simple. Here are a few photos.
This was taken outside of American Outfitters in San Diego.

Great photographs.
I hate mud, by the way.
I go through it if I have to.
I go around it if I can.
That rad shot and your comment explains why better than I could.

Definetly musta turned some heads on the drive back up!!!
So you had no issues with then HMMWV being an ex-mil vehicle??? you were able to get it registered and everything without problems???
thanks for the info, I am looking to try and get an ex-mil pickup and think with the dollar doing so good its probably best to get it out of the US.
Cheers
Paul
PS if you ever heading down around Vancouver send me a message, I'd love to check out your truck and grab a beer.

Paul there were no issues at all with the HMMWV. As the vehicle is more than 15 years old I did not have to go through the Registrar of Imported Vehicles program. I had to have a Provincial Inspection done and that was it <img src='

Feel free to call me anytime if you should have any questions about bringing a vehicle back from the USA into Canada. The HMMWV was my third vehicle I imported from the USA. You can reach me during the week at work at (250) 563-1208. I would be more than willing to help out any way I can.
Cheers, Bob
