There's an extra back slash on the end of the other link, try this one... Canister Vent Solenoid Repair

Has anyone tried this MOD, the MOD at the end of the PDF document??

Mud kills everything... I will be looking for a firecan filled for next time to bring along to spray out some of my more critical engine parts for sure. My Dad should have a few kicking around, they are basically exactly this... it was my prefered weapon for water fights!!

Hopefully getting rid of that giant RA logo that lets muddy water rush in will help too.

On my old Jeep I nuked my water pump, belt and radiator playing in the mud in a single go... that was expensive. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... on_eek.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

MOD was easy for me.. I took it to Master Mechanic and Steve hooked it up.. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

But honestly it is a easy swap out.. my truck was in for the belt tensioner pulley replacement as it had broke.. so he did both for me.. it is a simple swap of the old CVS for the new one and then extend the Heater hose with the new Pre filter/snorkel up higher, away from the MUD..shouldn't take more the 1 hour, if not 30 minutes..

Man, you are so lucky to live that close to Steve....my repairs cost an extra 100 in gas just to get there!
