Stalwart In The Lake (Lots Of Photos)

Post by abot »

Yesterday we did some "real" offroading <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... e_wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> with the stalwart - a trip into Lake Ontario. You get a lot more looks in this than you do in an H1.

We took it to Botland in September (I think) of last year, but we'll have to remember to offer the rides for next time - for a small "donation" of course <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> It's excellent offroad, very difficult to get it stuck.

I'm sure you could get enough "donation" to cover the expense of bringing it out to an event. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

Would the Quebec chapter pay the gas bill? If the 500L gas tank is full, it gets you about 600km. The gas stations really like the truck around here. Fuel is about $1.05 a litre, and there are how many kms to Quebec? <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... iggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> I forgot to mention it can't go on the highways, so it would take about a week to get out there. Unless you have a 7 or 10 day trail ride, I don't think the truck would be coming out there <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'm sure that the truck would get some good use out there (if the mud gets too deep, don't worry, because it'll float).

Maybe we'll show up in one of the H1s (never been offroading in Quebec before). For the current time, Quebec is a little to far for this truck. If we find a new offroad site around Toronto, I think you'll have to come out here to see it (hint) <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />
