It would be great if we could hook up with some locals along the way....off road with them for half a day and the continue on our trek out west (or east...whichever) with them tagging along. Drive one whole day and then meet up with someone else further along the trail for some more half day off-roading and half day driving....Nothing silly on the driving days, just put in a decent day of driving to move along on the trek and knowing the next day would be a "fun" off-roading and really easy drive. Then, if someone gets stuck or needs repairs, we have the half day that we would have been driving to seek out a good mechanic (or bring Kevin and his portable shop) and hang around for the half day OR if someone needed to stay back a day for repairs, they would easily be able to drive and catch up with us as every other day we are off-roading somewhere. What do you guys think?? I know it would be a lot of planning, but I'm willing to help Julie out (heheheheh....notice how I volunteered someone who is great with organizational skills)with the planning. Just a thought...might be a great way to start up a new Hummer experience and eventually get outide interest from our US counter-parts to explore "The Great White North".....
