Offroaders - helping out the little guy

Post by Hesh »

So word broke last weekend about a local establishment here in Winnipeg when word was published about a ongoing property dispute between a iconic restaurant and a property management company resulting in some real low-down scuzzy behaviour on the property management company's behalf. One of the guys in our group were old friends with some staff and when he shared the situation with us, we felt really bad for the situation they had been dumped into, so we figured what better way to band together and show our support. Local media ate it up! It was on CTV News, and afterwards we made our way inside and packed the lounge for a few hours where wings and laughs were found in large quantities. The owner was ecstatic about seeing all the support and loved all the rigs out front on the rocks (must have been atleast a dozen trucks on the boulders, and plenty others littering the lot), and warmly welcomed us back anytime. Maybe this will become a new favored watering hole for local wheelers and offroaders! Read the articles for a better grasp of the situation -

LOVE IT you guys rock (no pun intended <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )

If only you were closer...... me thinks a road trip with a convoy of Hummers would fit nicely on those rocks as well <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... SMILEY.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
(try that in your prius)
