Hutchison Beadlock Wheels

Post by whitehumh2 »

So a Buddy of mine had me assemble a set of 17x8 Hutchinson Dual Beadlock wheels for his Jeep. These would also be great for any H2 or H3 with the proper bolt pattern. Never try and install an H1 two piece Wheel on an H2...bolts will contact brakes!!!!

This is what comes in the box;

Step one; Install the rubber beadlock into the tire...surprisingly easy to do btw!

Note; I choose to align the air channel groove with the RMA Symbol on the tire just to have a reference and to keep them all the same!

Next install the super size o-ring on the upper rim half and apply a very generous amount of lubricant to the beadlock and tire beads to ensure a smooth and easy seating of the bead to the rim flange.

Now use the three long studs and hand tighten the rim halves together to eliminate any chance of vibration causing the seal to come out of position and to ensure you have an even and well seated bead.

Now install the remaining self lock nuts and be sure to keep the upper and lower portions aligned. Torque each Wheel in a triangle pattern with a 100lbs-ft torque. Do 5 complete passes in order to ensure that the bolts are truly equal and snug. Then air them up!

Rim and tire package must be about the same value as the jeep. I would really like a set for my H1
