There is no way to modify an H1 snorkel to work on an H2, trust me I would've done it by now!!

I am working on a full prototype snorkel now and will keep you all posted as to the process and the availability!

so i was not recommended to do a snorkel.

the guy i talked to has a h2 with a 6 inch lift and he just burried it in 5ft of water and the motor is still fine but hes in 12000 for a interior and new computers.

is it even worth doing a snorkel if there so many other things to watch out for...

Only if you intend to do deep water crossings.Other than that , it is just for appearance

No sense emptying your wallet on a maybe! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

I should have a full functional snorkel kit ready by the next trail ride...I hope. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='::)' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... lleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='::)' /> D, it will be black! And it will not simply be for looks or for dust protection but for actual deep water situations, and I will also be modifying some other critical parts to make sure that palying in the deep never leads to unwanted repairs! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

I will keep you all posted and will post pictures as to the install and modifications that need to be made.

Was at Queensway today. Yes our truck is still waiting parts (shims for front diff) . Info is that on H3 Alpha's have breather tubes all extend to top of air cleaner box and no foriegn material was found in either transfer case or diff.

I don't know much about H2's but I think my biggest fear would be damaging the interior components and electrical system. My HMMWV is designed to ford up to 5' of water with the deep fording kit installed but everything is water proof and the interior is basically just metal so there is nothing to ruin. I sank my H1 in 4 feet of water and it wasn't pretty, I ruined my sub box and made quite a mess of my interior. Took me hours to clean the interior and check that my electrical system was ok.
