Tire Pressure

Post by 1650shawn »

Hi guys,I would like to know how low I can drop my tire pressure without any risk of them popping off the rims.I don't have beadlocks. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ey-013.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wtf:' />

I my self have run with 16-18# with no trouble.Like to be a little safer and keep at 20# pressure . Depends on which tire you have as to how far down you go. MT 's need to go at least to 20 to get side wall flex. Toyo's at 22-24 ish

Also depends on the area being traveled. Sand 16, rocks 20, mud 22-30.Lots of factor to take into consideration. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' />

Actually My Portly H2 has popped a bead twice while off-roading with the tires at 25psi!!! That is why I am installing the Staun Beadlocks...No MORE PROBLEMS!!!
