Bent Side Step Bars

You've bent your bars or more correctly the braces holding your bars .

This usually causes bar to move up and either forward or back.



for front brace place strap over and return under and place ends under front wheel and back slowly have spotter direct move til bar is straight and level.

for back brace same but use back wheel and drive forward.



note at some point the brace will fail but this works fairly often in fact allowed Rhino to drive home after bar got pushed back into rear tire. Impressed the tow truck operaters waiting to tow us. ( done this 5 times)

Are they bending because your hitting something with the steps on, or are the H3 bars just that light that they bend easily?

Well most from running off road with bars on, but also one accident with a Sunfire resulted in bar dented sratched and bent back into right rear tire and sratches to right rear tire cover. shocked 4 tow truck operators when we shifted bar using strap . Also step bars are only attached by two light braces ( rock rails have four)
