Whining
I've been hearing a little whining coming from underneath these past few days.Only does it whe the engine is warm.Stops when idling. So,I'm quite sure its something that rotates when the vehicule is moving. I topped of the transmission fluid and it still whines. If the hubs are missing fluid,do they whine? I'm pretty sure it's not the brakes. They would make a scraping sound. This is much more of a whine.

Re: Whining
The whining is coming from the the main drive shaft support bearing. Garage can't get the part from any local parts store.Anyone know where I can order it from? It was a bit loose when I bought the truck this spring. Must have been the mud from Weir that got in it. So,I have a choice to make after replacing the bearing MUD OR BEARING,MUD OR BEARING, MUD OR BEARING MUD MUD MUD of course

I have one still in the box, too lazy to replace it.

The number that is called for is a 211415x or 5741082 -AMG, same specs as the one I have listed above. 35mm bore , 1/2 bolt holes,6.62 centres and 2.25 from mount to bearing centre. The mount width is a bit wider but it does not matter.

Re: Whining
Its the hanging bearing you're looking for right? If so, there is a place on Dixie by the Airport. I'll get the name on Monday.
