Questions On Air Intake For H3

Hi!



For sure some of the H3 owner have changed their air intake filter and conduit inorder to get better airflow. It has been mentionned also on this forum that it wasnt suggested to install an open filter type ( like K&N Type or Airaid )because of the risk of breathing water out on the trail which is not very good for the engine.



As for the waranty, I would say that it depends whom you're dealing with. Some dealer wil largue that if yo make a mod, any component attach to it will be out of waranty. In this case the air filter,they could say if there is any damage or problem with injection, trottle body, miss firering and other could be on your tab. Seen it happen.



As for the gain in gas milleage it would be minimal, may have better response to the pedal.



Some have tried "true flow kit", ( there is one still in the for sale section, H3 Air Flow cold air intake system )

Don You've seen our changes May we suggest First change stock air filter for K&N filter as we did Rhino (improves air flow). No warranty problem then Snorkle and Sy-Klone unit for cleaner dryer air. K&N filter from Parts Source and Snorkle from T.C. or Roy. Sy-Klone from Ridge Demon Dealer has stated that Air intake is still Stock from air cleaner box on so no big problem. Not like total rip out a replace. If you really want Queensway has some airaid units in stock and onsale take a look and ask.
