I called in again today to pressure them a bit more, sent some pictures of the damaged lights and the catalogue information (Honda has the same catalogue, so I think they do as well).

The active manager told me to piss off until the 15th at the earliest when the manager gets back from vacation <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... nfused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':???:' />

bah, this hell with this... I need proper equipment for my truck for some of the back highways I am hitting this upcoming Decemeber. At this rate even if they do order them in on the 15th (which I doubt anyway) they won't arrive in time.

I am ordering in a set of KC's 69 series driving lights for the time being and equipping them with my xenophot bulbs; I have gone through blizzard conditions before without good lights and I don't want to risk getting into that situation again.

Just got off the horn with Jon, he got them for me for under 200 bones and I can pick them up tommorow. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

They have way more lense surface area than my Roo's did, they should look hilariously huge because they will be a giant 6x9 inch glass rectangle that fills up nearly every millimeter between the brush guard bars! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

If I get my Roo-Lites replaced great, I will sell the KC's... but this is a good fix for now. They may actually suit the truck better than round lights, plus the covers and the housing are black.

Well, I am not driving around for the next month (or longer) with melted lights. My truck needs to be zombie ready at all times!

My plan is to drive down in the Honda in 15 days or whenver this "big boss" fellow is back and dump the lamps on the counter and demand they either reimburse the cost or replace them.

Oh FFS... I just ruined two xenophot bulbs trying to make them work with these lights... cleary they do not. Had to settle with putting the KC bulb back in, which is kind of not as good as before... had to cannibalize the holder for the other bulbs.
