Stupid question
Here is what might seem like a stupid question. In case I need to charge my battery this winter with a battery charger, can I connect the charger to one battery? Or can I do both somehow?

the battery's are connected so charging will do both. Now saying that, the rear battery takes more of the load and may need more charging than the front one.So separate charging is better and at that time as well you can check if one is weaker.

Thanks Roy,then would I be correct in assuming that if I need to boost my H1 I should hook up to the rear battery.Oh,by the way,I am having my front right rattle problem looked at on Tuesday.Hoping the problem is not from inside the differential.

Re: Stupid question
Boosting the H1's are a pain, unless you hook up a remote booster plug in so you do not have to open the hood.Same thing the 2's do for the winch.
Only had to boost mine once before replacing batteries every 4th year.
