I had a stock 2003 h2 on 37" toyos, super minor rubbing with every driving.

BUT my newer rims were exact same offset as factory.

Only time I had "minor" rubbing is if slam breaks and turning right,

And faint rubbing it was.

Stock everything and drove across Canada no issues .

Only issue I saw my truck had was only ihad issues was on was the

back inner front fender.

Which in sure I could pulled back or modified somehow .

Personally I loved the look. Bigger bigger bigger

Ive run 38"x15.5" with 20" rim with a 6" fabtech and all my front end is HD parts , re geared 4.88s for a long time now and Im ripping parts of my body off lol  and I break shit all the time ! Now my tires dont rub when Im just driving but when Im off roading she rubs from time to time , enough where Ive ripped big chunks off and Ive had to cut some tin off as it sliced up one of my old mud grapplers pretty bad . Big thing about tires that big is they're not just heavy but the cover alot of ground , so as our trucks are AWD those sons a bitches are always working ...so parts will wear a little faster , but there are some nice heavy duty parts out there for our IFSnow a days ..kryponite tie rods as an example . Plain and simple if your gonna build it and actually off road invest in good parts but be prepared also for some repair bills when shit breaks ....Im on a first name bases with the flat bed operater in Cochrane where us Alberta guys off road Ive broken down so many times..his name is Happy lol no joke ..Im not so happy tho when I have to call him , 4 hour drive tow bills arent cheap my friends . Ask the guys how long and how hard it was getting my truck out one time when my steering shaft snapped ...it was a bad day lol . I eventually will go the 40" route but Ill be doing it with a SAS . So for me personally I would love to but wont but 40" on the truck with the IFS . Ill tell you that even with 38" tires you will still stand out in the ground ...I still get people taken pics as they drive by all the time ....some day Ill be on FUH2 lol .....Ill tell ya though I still love driving my truck every time I get it in so I say do it up man , lift it , throw some wicked accessories on it ....I know I still love buying stuff for my truck and Im always looking for new products all the time.

Hopefully you dont see your baby up like this as often as I do lol but the pic also shows how big a stance it looks like with 38"

Im still on the fence with this upgrade....
I wont be doing any crazy 4x4ing with it so i dont see alot of rubbing/breakage i dont even mind the 10 point turns but i would like to know the best things to upgrade right off the bat since i will have to tear it down anyways. There is a guy here in edmonton red H2 has 38" by 13.5 s i believe with just the keys and 2 inch spring lift and his wells didnt look too bad so Im thinking if this is approached right i wont have any issues.
WHat backspacing did you guys use for 15" wide tires?
