Hi guys/gals.. Quick question:
Will these tires fit on my standard H3 rims?
Also considering cranking the front torsion bars to level front end with the back?
LT315/75R16 (35/12.50R16LT) 8 121Q 8.0-10.0 884
Thanks for your help!

Sorry can't help with the wheel conundrum. I just wanted to say; if you level out your truck remember to re-aim your headlights. Blinding people just gives all of us a bad rep.

Yes they will fit !!! As for leveling your rig ,either will do . If you buy a kit ?There are many on the market to choose from . Also get extended bump stops and front shocks . <a href="https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... 4lt3_xszlA </a>

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
Great thx....any suggestions on chunkier looking tires?
I watched a vid on YouTube and a guy put 35" Mickey Thompson baha claw on his H3...then he lifted the front by turning the torsion nuts about 2.5 turns....rig looked great when done.

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
Rhino had a Levelit kit from superlift put on before rancho 4 " lift . Tires were replaced first to lt285 75 r 16's kumho roadventure kl71 mt no problem then on to lt315 75 r16 same tire which rubbed in high bounces off road or potholes. Also kits generally are new keys and extenders for bump stops and shocks. as always have an alignment done.

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
315/75r16 will fit, I currently run a set of Cooper STT M/T on my oem wheels for winter, only downside is they rub the stabilizer bar at full lock.
Measure your ride height from the wheel center to the bottom of your fender flare. Most people aim for this distance to be 23"-24" AFTER cranking torsion bars. I had to crank mine 3 full rotations to get 23.5" once I set it back on the ground. They will settle after driving around a bit so you may have to adjust them every now and again to ensure your ride height stays where you want it. Just ensure you get an alignment as your camber will be WAY out after a tbar crank.

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
Our major rub was after lift and was top arm in full contact with tire solved with a further 1/2" spacer now attemping to get better spacer plates to finally fix problem. Kumhos seem to be 1/2" fatter on sides.
I'll post pics of Rhino as soon as I can get a Normal H3 to sit beside him to show difference.

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
I thought about getting wheel spacers for the front as well just to stop the rubbing at full lock, not to mention the upper ball joint is parallel to the rim at all times, I can barely stick my index finger between the rim and control arm. Even less when it's at full droop or compression. It's a leading reason why I want to jump to a set of 17" beadlocks in the future before I do a lift.

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
Also remember you will have sufficient power lose with the 35's if running I5 . Even more if you add UCP and sliders to the mix . Keep a eye on your sub frame and steering rack also .Your going to want to do some power up grades air intake and exhaust work . Still wont be over flowing of power sorry to say . Don't be affaid to put a kit in , a good install will be fine and you have warranty on the work .
Add a DAYSTAR body lift for more height .The T-bar crank is a pain up, down, measure ,drive, settle ,crank , measure . The American guys are big on it makes them feel like they are super mechanics cause they can save $100 dollars lol . Especially one site there . The other site Black Sheep ROCK!!! Put some pics up and options on your rig .

Re: Upgrade tires and torsion bar lift
I put 285 70 16 Michelin ATX 2 tires on my wifes 2006 H3, gives it a little bit "beefier" look with not rub issues. Did not notice a loss of power however I don't get to drive it much. These are the top of the line Michelin tire which should be great off-road however I will never get to find that out as my wife won't allow it off-road?!?!???? They ride very nice and are great in the winter with no tire noise at all!
