alarm system and remote start

The doors lock and unlock fine. All lights come on and the thing beeps and churps. My problem is when I hit the remote starter. It starts but only runs for a few seconds and cuts off. Now if I do it with the key it runs and stay running. Wth is going on .

1. Push button.

2. Starter runs.

3. Engine starts.

4. Starter disengages.

5. Idles normally for a few seconds.

6. Engine shuts off.


If this is the correct sequence you are experiencing then I would check the oil pressure sender circuit.
