Re: Truck stalls and battery keeps dying
Disconnect batteries to check if the batteries are shorting overnight. In my opinion, batteries in H1's should be changed every 3 yrs.
Stalling could have been a PMD issue or a faulty fuel pump. Some will run even with a bum fuel pump while others will not. Start here and report your findings.

Re: Truck stalls and battery keeps dying
I am assuming an H2 as it says in your sig. Either way it seems like either your batteries of maybe your alternator are going out. I vote batteries. When you draw down the batteries past the 10v mark often they will not recover and will never fully charge after due to sulphated plates in the battery. Further, the PCM in your truck may have brown outs due to low voltage and the truck can stall as a result. Try charging the battery while disconnected from the truck and see if it helps. If not, i think you will need a new battery and a trickle charger to keep the charge up when you go away for longer than a few days. On my truck because of all the mods i can bleed down my batts in a day so i have to have it on a charger or i would be going through batteries like penut butter sandwiches.

Re: Truck stalls and battery keeps dying
No real difference on the battery. Now is this an H1 or H2? You have truck type as H1 and H2 on listing.
Did you disconnect batteries to see if they are holding a charge? or is it a draw in the system? Check this first .No need to spend money the wrong place.

Re: Truck stalls and battery keeps dying
The battery terminals corrode on those, and if it sat for a week it could be as simple as taking the terminals off the battery and cleaning them. I think the early h2's have those dreaded side post terminals. If this is the case once off the battery you will need to pop the bolt out and pull the plastic shiething off to clean them properly.
