Has anyone ever changed one? The drive shaft seal....some YouTube videos show that basically people mark nut/pinion shaft/yoke so all lines up.....but that's on Chevys ....my rear end was almost dry, sooooo I topped up and realized it leaks when I going down bigger angle....and I'd say on hwy also.... I see a Few drops in a spot when i park,,, I can see its from the front of pinion...
Is this a semi easy job? Can you get away with just removing rear drive shaft also? Anything fancy required to do this job?

Re: To change a rear pinion seal?
easy job. Remove rear drive shaft off diff, undo the pinion nut. Pull the yoke off, pull seal with a pry bar or 2 self drilling screws--then pry on screw heads.REplace the seal, yoke and torque the nut. Replace drive shaft and secure.
A common but not too often job.Side output seals are a tad more difficult.
