Ok, I'm adding trains temp/egt/ and boost gauge, and noticed my tac light is not working sooooo I took off that little panel with clock and tack, notice clock has nice light but the tac is sealed and. I lightI didn't look to long as was getting late, but will it just come apart to change light?

Or basically do I have to break open and solder in a led light? I'm wondering if a pain job or easy,

Gauge works great lol don't want to replace over a light bulb

I have the same problem. I have not torn into the dash to look further into it. Im sure the tach must be able to come apart somehow. Worth asking Roy at the wrenching party on Sun.

Well i dug into it, i didnt do factory

But added my own led light

Basicly 3 screws in back and opens in middle

Then 3 screws hold a computer board.

Remove and then cut the two wires going into

Holes for the light. drilled a hole larger then existing, (carfull so drill bit dont go far into gauge)

Then wired up light and put tape around hole (to prevent chaffing )

Put all back together and bam

Was bright perfect. On road week now and still good

Basicly that little black and white wire(pic above) is power and ground for the light.

Lol I think this is where I snapped and went Micky mouse, but at least put a nice large led light in hole,

Nothing can be sticking out of hole as that computer board needs to squish down to power gauge,. (Found out on first attempt, hehe)

I think I worried about digging past this stag, as was afraid to break the lense , or something cray,
