Well, winter I'm sure is around the corner, on my wife's h2, we have tall chrome dubs, (had them 5 years ish)
Normally I spray wd40 (weekly) on the wheel to help with salt, but is there any other ideas to spray on to avoid corrosion?
Then when I wash truck, I respray rims)
I know greanmeanie seems to rave at tranny fluid, I was thinking of a dollar store spray bottle and make trannyfluid/ concoction
I'm not worried about shine, just in December/Jan/February keep sprayed.
We don't drive it enough to warrens changing tires/wheels, but on the nice days do like to go for a nice ride now and then.

Re: Winter rim spray?
You could coat with grease. Some co workers do this with good results. You could also try spraying with that plastidip temporary wheel coating. I got a set of rims with that stuff on it and it comes right off with a hot water pressure washer
