Good news Wolf. Makes sense a couple would be bent over the bad hole. And nice there was no cracks.

Looks like you have a fresh 6.5 Amigo.

Good luck evicting the cats.

Look forward to seeing a video of this beast running.

It was a struggle to get the injector lines connected, it sort of like a jigsaw puzzle to get them to line up without interfering its each other. I had to whip over to Canadian Tire to get a set of crows-foot sockets since there is no other way to get the lower four lines. It was $50 for the SAE set and all I needed was the 5/8", oh well. They have a sweet deal on large ratcheting combination (21-25mm and 15/16 to 1 1/8") wrenches 65% off, or also $50 so I got those too since the Humvee tends to have bigger fasteners than my existing set can handle.

Fuel lines in and torqued, intake and exhaust manifolds on, and I managed to get the broken bolt out of my alternator bracket too...

For once the easy out didn't break, the bolt was snapped off about half an inch below the face of the bracket.

So I got a chance to work on the truck again today, had to work yesterday, and close the pool so it was a busy weekend. There are still a lot of lines and hoses to connect and I want to flush the radiators before connecting everything permanently.

Pool open, pool closed....

Engine out, engine in....

I didn't expect to get so much use out of the cover, but with many lines still disconnected I want to keep all the rain out.
