Well once again, a day at Roy's shop!

Few days ago my truck starts peeing after I shut her off, and was on harmonic balancer, front of oil pan area.

I looked around and hoses looked ok , but was either a water pump gasket or weep, area.


I called Roy, (to rant) he says bring her in ,

I've been planing to change my WP for a couple years now, as I wanted to get the HO pump,

My n/a water pump is the crappier (I think about ) 85gpm, and the HO version is 130gpm....


What was super cool, he had a hummve water pump he put on a bench in front of me and explains, what bolts go in and basically how it works

Can use as a cross reference , (I swear he should have bee a shop teacher)


Lol, some of my finger tips of my were swollen the next day ...hehe

After all was all said and done he did and oil change, sent me off at 4 or 5

First off this was Toys shop decoration for Christmas being a Hummer shop he decorated his Humvee chassis

This was just when we removed the old water pump what was under there


I think the motor part was more so a pain when cleaning gaskets off,.... And lol at the 2 big water holes, I stupidly though my block was cracked, but they we drain holes, heheh

Lol and I already thought I was doomed, but whew all was good

This is the HO pump and a pic of the back of it

The new impeller wheel is like 4 1/4 in dia

As compared to 3 3/4 for the old set up

After some gasket cleaning and some light polishing this is the backing plate going on the pump

The water pump comes only in cast so Roy and painted it nice and black and shiny for me before we put it on

And now the fun part Roy was placing it back on to the motor the new pump that is

This is a picture of the pump installed and some new hoses we were putting on as well

Now we are starting to putting everything up this is the idler arm pulley installed now and the assembly

I'm not sure if you can see what this is almost the finished product now.

And yes I started to slow down by here hands were sore back was sore hehehe


And of course Roy like a machine and

can keep on going no problem
