Well, I have finally got around to installing some of the tons of parts that I bought in the fall!!
So I was getting some weirds noises from the suspension when forcing the H2 over large boulders...turn out that the lower table front bushing was actually sliding out of position. Simple fix...remove the front lower table bushing and reinstall it from the rear...that way it gets pushed on tighter!! But, since I Mod everything simply doing that was not enough of a repair for me so I also replaced all the lower table bushings with an Energy Suspension Poly kit PN 3.3185R. That way I will never have any problem again!

These are the before pictures note the bulge in the bushing on the front of the table.
These are the after pics, note the bulge behind thefront of the table.
Since I already had to remove the lower shock bolt...why not replace the front shocks!! They were leaking a bit anyways!!! So I installed a set of Firestone/Bilstein Air shocks. They fit directly in the factory location and allow you to compensate for the weight of a Winch/Bumper combo and allow you to fine tune your ride height and take some strain off the torsion bars. Minimum Pressure is 10psi and Max is 100psi. I will do a bit of testing to see what the ideal pressure will be for my Portly H2!!
Here are the pics of the installed Air shocks!
I placed the schrader valve at the base of the rad support facing into the wheel well area in a very shielded but easily accessible position. I also covered the entire lenght of air line with a protective sheath to prevent leaks due to rubbing. I tie-wrapped everything in place and Voila!!
