Hi! I have a few questions regarding the Nav system of an H3.
Can the NAV kit from an H3 06 deluxe fit into my H3 09 Adventure . Are the harness the same, should I expect any trouble with it.
I know that its not GPS driven so how acurate is it. I would suspect also that its only for road situation. Dont know never seen one and the 1700$ option, didnt appeal to me at the time.
Does this Nav kit double as a 6 cd players?
Any reply would be appreciated
thx

The factory nav unit is a single disc. If the head fit in a 2006 it will fit in a 2009

I looked into this exact thing as well. Basically you have to take the Nav unit into the dealer to have them reset it to accept a new Vin. Otherwise when you install it into your truck it will just lock up right away.
Now with that said I was asking Shaw about it.... the parts desk confirmed it would have to be reset, but the service department ignored me, they have no interest in resetting it. I think any GM dealer can reset it though.
Other than that I think if you can get your hands on all the harness equipment it bolts in.
You are not looking at that wrecked H3 on Kijiji are you? That is a scam, see link:

Thx for the suplement info. Good to know. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' /> I didnt know that the device had to be reset in order to work in an other vehicle.
As for the wreck H3 for parts, I did look at it when the post was made but when I saw that the odometer was different I suspect that it was not canadian so I looked here in some recycler around montreal. The one on kijiji I have for say,, if it looks to good to be true......... Mainwhile I dropped the idea, I'll stick to my garmin for now. will put rocker and under armor before anything else.
thx again
