T/C green light not coming on.

I need help with my H1. The T/C green light does not come on when I put it in HL or L. This means to me that it is not locking the diff. in. So to check it out I put in HL on the street to see if it would bind up some as I turned the rig in a circle and it went way to smooth. Most 4x4's will buck at that move, any ideas on things to check out?

the T/C light is for transfer case lock, you may have a sticky rod.Have you been using the lock in the past?I'll check the books to see what is possible to fix.

What year is the truck? Green light is a TT4 light in post ABS trucks.
