Top of The World Trail - McLean Creek

Post by humybby »

Has anyone here done this trail?

I may have decades ago - I just don't remember. I wouldn't mind trying it before it snows - but I have no idea where it is other than at McLean Creek.

Greg

PS, Is anyone going wheeling on Saturday?

I've heard of it, but have never been on it. It's definitely a more challenging trail from what I heard...

Well...... Hopefully someone here has done it!

If it's challenging I sure won't try it alone.

i was on this trail on a side by side this year and after what i seen i defiantly wouldnt take a truck up there

the whole day i was there not 1 person would even attempt this.

theres 1 super steep long hill but the worst it the 3' stairs at the top.

and of coarse you have to come down. the only truck i ever seen go down literally had to jump down a 5' ledge so he wouldnt flip over the front

too much for an every day driver.

maby a build rock crawler but not an almost stock truck

dont get me wrong it was wicked but crazy

seems like bad news to me

so if you guys go i call shotgun, lol

I've done this when my truck had all of 300km on the odometer.... although admittedly I left it at the bottom of the trail and jumped in a awesome buggy jeep passenger seat.

Trail has some steep sections for sure, but they are manageable. The main issue is it is very narrow and lots of stiff bracnhes, expect to have your vehicle get some of natures pin-striping on this trail.
