Okay, got the fruit tray, got a recovery strap, I went everywhere looking for bloody 5/8 shackles and people looked at me cross eyed! Still didnt find them and no cb either. So roll down your windows and listen for me to yell loud! If I dont have all the things and I am going to be in the way, I can watch you guys no worries. Anyway, see you at the Canadian tire, I best set my alarm. According to mapquest its about 2 hours so I am good to go.

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
(try that in your prius)

wow, it was a great day indeed!! Loved the mud, and loved getting a feel for what the H2 can do, they are amazing. Even though I am new to this off road thing (in a vehicle anyway) i was really enjoying watching the excitment of the other new members. Particularly, James, and Montana, both were so excited and happy, and James was almost giddie! Very cool. Plus Johnnnnny, as he gained confidence in the H3's ability. I enjoyed this side almost as much as learning myself!

But what a over all fantastic group of people. Everyone seems to truely enjoy everyone elses company, and are so welcoming to the new people. Awesome!

Can't thank John enough for arranging this day, and for being so open and welcoming to myself and my boys, I've never arrived at a total strangers home before and felt so comfortable, this says a lot of John and his family.

Every member here needs a huge pat on the back, for being so helpful and encouraging to the new members.... says a lot about the club, and the people involved in running it.

Can hardly wait til the next outing.... damn you Derek! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

I have to agreed, we did have a great crew of people out there and the Mud all started with James...one puddle and then OMG everyone was going, even Yasser in his blinged out H2 became VERY DIRTY!! I was shocked.. as for Montana.. Holy crap that was probably the best slash I have every seen until Yasser went nuts near the end... can't wait to see all those photos..

Anyways we had a lot of first timers in their trucks out.. and you guys can correct me if I am wrong..James, Yasser, Montana, Brian, Johnny and then a very great supporting crew of John, Patrick, Norm, Phil, Kevin/Ron, and we helped out too, Julie, Anthony and myself..

I think the funniest thing I saw was the water fall that came out of John's truck when Michele opened the door... That was deeper then John thought.. ImageImage

or the conga line, John being pulled by Phil being pulled by me..Anthony can;t stop talking about that..

As for the first stuck of the day... well that goes to Patrick ImageImageImage even though he will never say stuck, and of course Norm and his H2 beast was never stuck, man those lockers and the experience have really paid off, Now I think Sue needs a potable heater installed..MAN UP NORM and get that done Image

Brian, aka gadgets, was very impressive in his Beautiful Red special edition H2..wow, no Fear!! this is great and I think he is as above stated, HOOKED now...

BTW in the words of Norm London....if you you're not stuck, then you ain't trying....well we can for sure say that everyone was trying yesterday, not once did anyone chicken out.. it was impressive..and My truck has been muddy before but DAMN is is dirty now...

I hope you all had a great time..have fun getting the mud off..what a great crew!! and I bunch of new Off Roaders.. you only have to come once to get hooked...just once...Image
