Hey Greg! You nailed it! Your absolutely right it was driver error, and I did learn from my mistakes! And still hold by not getting stuck in there so worth the minor breakdown to learn more! I wish I could have continued to the fall with you and that's why I asked if you thought it was to rough for me to make it! Unfortunately it will be something that will have to wait till next time. But I must say although an early ending it was a blast and we did limp it home ok

I'm glad you made it home OK. It should be an easy fix once you have the part. Be sure to use the correct torque numbers!

Dave,

I hope your Uncle is doing well....... All the best.

Powderface is one of my favorite roads but doesn't really go anywhere except hook the back end of Bragg creek to the sibbald creek trail... Awesome drive though! It's open to the 15th ofndecember as long as they didn't change anything..

I suggested the road ending up at the pub in water valley, but true enough I have never been in it yet and I guess B-Man was saying its a little shady in there....

Is it a loop or do you just turn around once you get to the end?

Also, I started up a discussion thread for this:

Not a loop but like I say, it does spit you out on Sibbald Creek trail which is what we drove last year to get to Spray Lake trail, so it'll take you to Canmore!

FWIW,

On that trail - I think I'll be the most likely to break something!

Well after a fun weekend my week started horribly!!! Some vandals decided to have fun with my hummer ending with about 10000 in damage! This was enough to make me puke!! What is wrong with some people! Truck needs a paint job after being carved up, and lots of interior work along with my stereo gone! Anyone with recommendations for body shops please let me know. Thx
