So as a result of these raging forest fires in Kirkland Lake, and Timmins, Muskoka reportedly now has a complete fire ban underway. No cooking, no warmth, no nothing. I just looked at the fire ban and it currently comes down as far as Gravenhurst. That is getting close to where we will be this weekend. I hope it doesn't expand farther or JB's monster fires might be stomped out!

Sue and I might not be able to make this weekend. The dog is sick and she still doesn't have her rabies shot yet. Likely not a good idea taking her to the great outdoors just yet. When she's feeling better we'll be getting out again.

I'm not stuck, I'm momentarily inconvenienced.

Well as long as we can have the BBQ running... we can survive. Several years ago we had a fire ban on when we were at a cottage resort the other side of Huntsville. We always used the "group fire pit" because there were so many of us.... this particular time, we all sat around the huge fire pit watching a bug zapper we sat in the middle.

Gagets other son here, just looked at the Weather Network forecast. They're calling for a 70% chance of 2-4mm of rain on Friday. Let's hope!
