Unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't help to prevent truck to be stolen! For those " specialists" it's looks like very easy! And there is not so much protection from them!

I had mine stolen on Oct 30, 2015 out of Square One Shopping mall parking lot.  Security had video of my Yellow hummer stolen in 70 seconds.  Found 2 days later near industrial area of Mississauga, wheels and stereo gone.  Insurance wrote it off.  Oh well....  Getting another one.  This time round, good luck!  Got a little surprise for you when you open my door!!!  boooooohhahahahahaha!!!!!!

What,, no remote ass spikes installed in the seats??
For those of you worried about this happening there are a few ways to fight back.
I think the best way is to hide a cell phone in the truck somewhere it can't easily be found with an SMS hack installed on the phone. This allows you to listen in and tower track the phone even when powered off. This is generally the same software the NSA uses to track all of our activities.
It is illegal to use the software in most cases for spying on the wife etc but i think you could get a pass if you used it for vehicle security. Any 15-20 per month cell plan or pay as you go will work fine.
You can go one step further where you call the phone to shut down the truck. Its a little more involved and requires opening up the phone to solder in some wires and then you have to do the same on the vehicle computer as well along with hiding the wires.
Its good to have a vehicle alarm that functions well to draw attention away from any mods and also trigger the phone when the thieves start decoding/scanning your alarm. Most thieves will carry wifi/blue tooth blockers and often they have OBD2 dongles to disable the On Star so you have to hard wire and use regular cell signals.
Early 1997 HMC4, 1 of 35, Original Block H296, 110,000 miles and no cracks yet, G10 green
Custom made Brush Gaurd, Roof Rack, Overhead Console and Sound System.
