Facebook isn't required since we already have a club website and community. Facebook is a great tool for groups and organizations that don't have a web presence. As you mentioned, you searched the internet and you found us. That's exactly what is supposed to happen. You would have to do the same search on facebook so there is no magic formula for exposure.
