Apology if this is wrong place to place this ....
Looking for suggestions for Reliable, Not-too-expensive, Portable 12V air compressor + high impact wrench setup. Hopefully it is not going to be used often, so don't want to spend too much on it...

Dewalt has a reliable 1/2 impact. It has worked for the H1 tires, just have to remember to charge after use for the next day .
Snap on ..well, tooo expensive but good. battery does not last long.
I have a nerw dewalt gun + charger, but no batteries,if interested, I will get you a price

The best would be an under hood engine driven compressor set-up like one from Kilby entreprises.
There are a couple of companies that make bolt on kits for our LS engines.
Another possibility would be an ARB dual compressor with an air tank, this is my current set-up but I will be upgrading to the engine driven one soon!
Extreme Outback also makes amazing air compressors both electric and engine driven!

You See Kevin , Michael wants to run a quick air system so you don't have to sit for 30 min airing the tires back as well. as well as do small applications on power tools as well. Am I right Mike?

I know, that is why I suggested the parts I did!
There is nothing faster than an engine driven compressor...which is why I will be changing to that soon myself!
